The SAFI project has resulted in the development of a decision support service, designed to assist: 

•    Assist aquaculture deployment (finfish and shellfish) and environmental monitoring during operations,
•    Support fisheries by providing indicators of recruitments, abundances and shell/fish locations.

SAFI exploited the latest developments in Europe's Earth Observation resources, developing tools to extract key information from the ocean of data available through them.
